I bought these to go into my yellow cobalt. I just got them in today so I cannot attest to the build quality long term, but it seems adequate. the rubber yellow parts are no where near as bright as I thought they would be as well as the trim done in yellow is a slight accent compared to the statement I was expecting from the picture. I am not too disappointed, I just didn't get quite what I had expected, but then again I didn't spend all that much on them either. I will try to add pictures when I can.

Performance Accessories 6339 Gap Guard Toyota Tundra 4Wd Only 2000-02 Review

I bought these for my 2005 Access Cab Tundra and they fit perfectly. But I knew they would. All 1st Gen Tundras have the same foundation (except for Double Cabs). You can buy these from PA directly, but you'll pay $30 more. You get the same crap in the box too. They come with a big bag of plastic fasteners. I didn't use those, I used SS M5 rivnuts and bolted them to my fender wells. They are fantastic!

In general the material of the cover is adequate, the workmanship is passing, and the price makes it acceptable.

It does not fit my 2009 1500 Sierra WT seat as I expected.The backrest cover is not large enough to cover the head restraits.The center seat cover makes the built in cup holders and map box unavailable.

With my own modifications I will use it.Not everyone will be able to make these changes due to the car manufacter does not make the required information available.

It's a little rickety & we had to buy a special hitch adapter, which cost another $50.Our hitch wasn't long enough but was also what I would think is the standard length.I would imagine most people would end up having to buy a longer hitch.

Rampage 31615 Denim Black Deluxe Locking Center Console Review

A nice console all in all but the front cup holders are lacking. The front-most cup holders have a poorly designed cup retention device that even when engaged, don't do a very good job in keeping the cups/bottles in place. Also due to the design of the cup retention device release, it is very easy to release the retention arms with the bottom of the cup/bottle when putting the cup/bottle back into the holders. On the upside, the storage compartments are absolutely HUGE. and the overall operation and appearance is very nice. I'm using this in place of the original police equipment console between the front seats in an ex-police cruiser and the padded arm rest and huge storage capacity is awesome.

Took me about 2 hours to install.I used as much of the already existing hardware onmy 1998 Ford Expedition as possible.(see customer pictures and corresponding notes)Another reviewer mentioned spending 300 to have it installed professionally, which is ridiculous.It really wasn't that hard to install... I think he got ripped off.

The sound is exactly what I expected based on the "Check out related media".It is a lot louder than the stock horns, but I still wish it would have been a lower frequency.

The only thing that bothered me about the installation was mounting the compressor.The bolt that secures the compressor to your vehicle spins freely as you tighten the nut, and considering how cramped the area was where I installed the horns, I was getting pretty frustrated trying to tighten the nut/bolt.

Topline Mfg GR3500 The Grabber - Cargo Reach Tool Review

I like this thing a lot, and it sure beats climbing into the bed to get something that slid forward. It's pretty sturdy for a lightweight, telescoping pole; I was able to maneuver a case of bottled water from the front of the bed to the back without worrying about snapping it. I really like this thing.

The only thing that would make it better is if it had a bungee cord or lariat attached to it -- then I wouldn't have to climb into the bed to get it when it was the thing that slid forward. :-) I attached a regular bungee cord to solve that problem, but it would have been good if that has come with it.

Hi-Lift Jack TM-700 1"-2" Adjustable Tube Mount Review

I've had this about a month installed on an 07 FJ Cruiser with stock roof rack supporting a 60" Hi-Lift X Jack. I was a little skeptical of these 2 brackets supporting the weight of the 60" jack and keeping it suspended on rough terrain, but after several outings it hasn't even been an issue. Fit and finish is pretty good.The "U" bolt and nuts could be cleaner but in comparison to other brackets that cost 2-3X these, they are fine. Be careful when torquing, you can crush your rack tubes if you are not careful. It has done what it is supposed to do perfectly.

So why 3 stars????Because, although these mounts perform and are some of the cheapest mounts I've seen, its still over $50 for brackets.These are brackets!! Why they cost almost half the jack itself I have no clue. There isn't half as much material in these as in my Hi-lift Xtreme!

I feel the purchase would have been more justified if it were providing additional value like added security but there is no way to lock the mount to secure the jack. I use a gun lock to secure the jack to the roof rack which is an added expense. Also, you can't secure the mounts themselves to the roof rack to avoid theft.

Another minor gripe, It would have been nice to have at least a minimal selection of hardware color finishes to choose from.

Call me weird, but it bothers me that I have to spend more money just to be able to bring along a jack I already paid for. If the jack was meant to stay home, then I would understand. I feel this should have been standard equipment with the purchase of the jack.It doesn't make sense to throw it in your cab or the bottom of your truck bed for convenience sake, even if you have the space and I've never seen it done. I've always seen it mounted because it needs to be.What was I thinking..... buying a recovery jack to actually BRING with me.

Highland 95016 Black Truck Tailgate Net Review

This net fit perfectly on my 1999 chevy s10 ls.The other reviewer gave it a bad score because he bought the wrong one.There are three different sizes for different trucks so make sure you buy the right one.The installation took about 10 minutes and all I needed was a couple of drill bits and a drill.The net seemed to be made of a sort of plastic, but it seems pretty strong.The only thing I dont like is the quick release.It does work, but its not really an easy release.There are pins you have to take out and the bars contract which is a little difficult because the bars don't slide smoothly.I guess its quicker than having to take out screws and take it apart.I dont really take it on and off a lot so its not much of a big problem.Overall the net does what it needs to.The bars seem to be strong enough to keep stuff from falling out and the net seems to be strong also.The quality is above average and it improved the look of my truck over my rusted out tailgate.

Lund 601015 Aero Bag Waterproof Roof Top Carrier Review

First of all '11 cubic feet' means a little for me so if you were wondering about the dimesions of this bag, look no further (because nor even in lund's web site you could find this valuable information). The dimensions labeled in the box are 44"x36"x16" (l,w,h). So far I stuffed it with six letter size stackable white cardboard boxes like those you find at Office Depot (15.5"x12.5"x11") intended for your backlog (by Willamette), it's not easy at first glance but, believe it or not, there's enough room for them. Te curb of the aerodinamic shape ends some 18" from the front side to the back to reach the 16" claimed. For me it seems like a parabolic shape because the height continues to increase slightly up to around 18" in the backside. With my 6 backlog boxes in place there's still some 26"x36"x5" of room above them.

Material seems to be strong, the only think I don't like is the zipper wich seems to be regular one not one intended to support strong wind force. Well, in two weeks I'll tell you what happened with this bag during my 600 mile trip.

So far, so good.

Yakima DryDock Boat Hitch Mount Truck Adapter for Thule Canoe and Kayak Carriers Review

Like all Yakima products this rack is a quality item.It does, however, have some serious limitations.Before you buy one check that it will fit your 2" receiver.On some receivers the bolt holes of the rack and receiver are impossible to line up!I had a Drawtite receiver and experienced this problem.I contacted Yakima and they told me they were aware of the problem but placed the blame on Drawtite.I was able to solve the problem by removing 1/8th of an inch from the rack tongue with a hacksaw, a lot of patience, and several cold beverages.Secondly this rack will only work for long vessels.I have an 18' Chesapeake Light Craft Mill River 18 and a 17" 6" Pygmy Arctic Tern and these just about work.Anything less than about 16' 6" is going to be very difficult to secure.This is also a cumbersome item to store.
So, if you have a longish boat, you have somewhere to store the rack and a compatible hitch this rack is brilliant.If you can't meet these criteria you may have something of a nightmare!
Yackima does offer some other alternatives for mounting a kayak/canoe carrier on a pickup that may work better for shorter boats but you will have to make sure the bedrails of your truck will accomodate them!Arrgghhh!
Having said all this, I remain a fan of Yakima products.Once I got the problem sorted this rack has performed well for me.Apart from the somewhat cavalier comment about the lack of compatibilty being Drawtite's fault I have been impressed with Yakima's customer service.I would have given this product five stars but for the frustrations mentioned above.

TracRac 22941 T-Rac Pro for Compact Trucks Review

I purchased this rack from Amazon and the package arrived damaged. It was missing all the bolts! The tracrac customer service was amazingly fast and friendly. I was actually stunned by their quick response.

I love this rack! It was easy to install and looks great on the truck. It comes with four sliding Crossbar Tiedowns for securing stuff to the rack, and the cleats on the sides of the rack really come in handy. Although lightweight it is SOLID. I am really impressed with it. The bolts that hold this thing together are not wimpy little things either. I feel really safe with this rack.

I hauled 7 kayaks this weekend. Four on the rack and 3 in the bed of my truck.I also purchased the TracRac KayakMount accessory and it is amazing. What I really like about this is that it is SOLID like the rack and it is easy to remove when not needed, you don't get that with Yakama and Thule! I actually purchased a Thule kayak carrier for my car, but returned it when I saw that it wasn't half the quality of the TracRac one.

I'll be sliding the Crossbar Tiedowns back on the rack now because I'm looking forward to hauling lumber next!

Superwinch 1220210 LT2000 Utility Winch Review

The LT2000 Superwinch is a great little winch for the price. This was surprisingly smaller lighter than I expected, but it does perform well for my needs. Here are my observations:

Pros -
+ Lightweight; easy to move around when not in use
+ Powerful; has enough pulling "umph" for the jobs I bought it for (pulling bushes)
+ Easy To Use; controls are intuitive

Cons -
- Cable was caught in the "Back Plate" when it arrived, I had to manually unwind the cable and use a small pry-bar to free it and now I have a concern every time it is used that the cable will get caught again (but it hasn't)

Since this is so light, and we didn't want to permanently attach the winch, we also bought Superwinch 2060 Portable Ball Hitch Mount.
