This kit is solid and easy to install. It includes everything you need for the mounting of your aftermarket head unit. It does not have a place to mount an EQ without modifications since the pocket is not removable. If you want to install an EQ and you are not good at making modifications you should look at a different kit. To make the installation easier you should purchase the Ford stock stereo removal tools (Part #: ATD-5621 Available on Amazon), and a wiring harness kit. Wiring harness kits are cheap and available on Amazon. You should never cut your factory wiring since it will void your warranty if you have one, and can cause damage to your vehicle, stereo, and speakers if you don't know exactly what your doing.
