2000 lb Cable Hand Winch Boat-Truck-Car-Trailer-ATV Review

I mounted it on my San Pedro artist's easel and use it to raise and lower the canvas support tray. The winch itself is clunky and imprecise, with wide tolerances everywhere. I think it should be fine for simple applications like mine, but I would never trust it where safety was involved. I think the "2000 lbs" claim should be taken with not a grain but a box of salt. Oh, it might lift that much weight, and technically you might get it to lift even more, but I wouldn't stand beneath the load being lifted unless you're ready to be brushed by the angel's wing.
